This magnificent Hook & Hastings (opus 1782) organ served for 100 years in St Michael's Church in down town Cincinnati until St Michael's closed its doors in 1998. The tracker organ was given a detailed and exacting restoration - undoing a number of unsatisfactory modifications, combined with the façade of Hook & Hastings opus 2173 and installed in the newly built St John's Church in September of 1999 and dedicated on October 17, 1999.
